SVENTEC GmbH is launching an improved version of its successful wheel lift, the RADFEX V6, in time for the 2024 wheel change season. Since the first patent application in November 2019, the RADFEX wheel lift has undergone continuous development, and in October 2022, company founder Sven Brust decided to sell it to end customers. More than 250 workshops now use the RADFEX. Feedback from users led to the further development of the new version 6, which responds to specific customer needs.
Now even more compact and flexible
Five well-thought-out technical adjustments offer RADFEX V6 users greater flexibility and convenience when changing wheels. The new RADFEX is now 5 cm shorter, making it easier to handle and more space-saving. Thanks to its compact design, the wheel lift can be easily slid under the front of the vehicle when it is raised, without the head of the RADFEX coming into contact with the vehicle and causing scratches. In addition, the wheel lift can now be easily stowed and transported in common vans such as the VW T6.1.
Smart storage and fixing options
The storage tray for wheel bolts has also been enlarged at the customer’s request and now offers space for two sets of wheel bolts – without increasing the overall height of the wheel jack (Fig. A). The additional continuous row of holes (Fig. B) for securing the support arms also offers versatile positioning options. This means that the wheel can either be placed securely on a stacked wheel set or lifted directly from it onto the RADFEX support arm.
Stable and gentle on high-quality rims
A barely visible but extremely practical innovation on the wheel lift is the integrated rubber stop (Fig. C) on the outer blue roller of the support arms. This ensures that the wheel does not rotate unintentionally when rolling out, making removal easier. In addition, the side support rollers (Fig. D) have been offset so that even sensitive aluminium rims do not come into contact with the iron holder and remain undamaged.
Enhanced security for users
The RADFEX V6 features improved safety coverage at the head of the wheel lift (Fig. E). This new cover protects the user’s fingers from accidentally getting caught in the roller and significantly increases work safety when using the wheel lift.
Practical accessories for even easier wheel changes
With the RADFEX V6, customers receive a practical plastic wheel nut socket (Fig. F) in sizes 17 and 19 mm. This innovative addition makes working with the impact wrench easier, as the socket wrench can remain on the impact wrench. This allows wheel bolts and nuts to be tightened quickly and correctly without having to change tools.
Slightly adjusted price for the RADFEX V6
Despite the numerous improvements, SVENTEC GmbH has only slightly increased the price of the RADFEX V6 to €1,990 (plus VAT and shipping). The new wheel lift is therefore not only functional and safe, but also remains an economical solution for workshops that want to make their wheel changes more efficient.
